Qualifications

• Strong connections with tamariki, rangatahi, whānau and the community.
• Ability to plan, meet timeframes and apply FGC standards and practices.
• Experience with youth aged 12–18 years and report writing ability.
• Understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and cross-cultural practice.

Responsibilities

• Manage Family Group Conferences in line with the Oranga Tamariki Act 1989.
• Collaborate with victims, police and Youth Court to hold rangatahi to account.
• Incorporate mana-enhancing and restorative approaches using community resources.
• Travel within the region as required to deliver front-line services.
