Job summary

Smith Nephew in New Zealand is seeking a Business Development Executive – Community to drive growth and profitability in Advanced Wound Management by identifying and pursuing new opportunities across the NZ healthcare market. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will collaborate with the sales team and external stakeholders.

You will develop strategic plans for DHBs, manage key relationships with hospital accounts, PHARMAC, and providers, and lead tender activities.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within NZ healthcare market.
• Develop strategic business plans for targeted DHBs.
• Manage relationships with DHB Hospital Accounts and other stakeholders.
• Drive tender and contract outcomes with external stakeholders.
• Evaluate market opportunities and profitability for products.
• Identify sales leads in the assigned territory.
• Present information at client meetings, exhibits, and conferences.
• Align CRM with SAP and ensure data quality.
