Job summary

Baxter Healthcare in New Zealand seeks a Product Specialist for the Advanced Surgery team, covering the South Auckland territory (Middlemore, Waikato, Hawke's Bay, Taranaki). You will drive revenue growth and profitability across both existing and new accounts, executing sales strategies and developing opportunities for our portfolio.

You will leverage clinical insights and hospital environment understanding to build strong relationships with surgeons, theatre staff, procurement, and management.

Qualifications

• Tertiary degree in relevant field is required or highly desirable.
• 2–5 years in commercial/sales roles within Medical Devices or Pharmaceutical industry preferred.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, and account management skills.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales budgets by growing Advanced Surgery product sales in the territory.
• Develop relationships with clinical and management staff in accounts.
• Present features and benefits of Baxter portfolio to customers and prospects.
• Maintain profitability in the area with sales and marketing collaboration.
• Provide market data and insights to support market understanding.
• Identify new opportunities and strategies to increase revenue.
• Deliver product presentations to drive usage in key specialties.
• Ensure up-to-date product knowledge for effective customer communication.
• Coordinate with Customer Service to meet ordering requirements.
• Submit monthly market intelligence reports and forecasts.
