Job summary

Ricoh New Zealand Ltd is seeking a practical, tech-minded Workshop & Installation Engineer to join the Auckland Workshop team. You’ll install devices, provide basic training, and troubleshoot issues on client sites, then support with maintenance and warehouse duties back at base.

You'll work hands-on with Ricoh equipment, collaborate with customers and branches, and contribute to process improvements while upholding safety and accuracy in documentation.

Qualifications

  • Customer service and communication skills are essential.
  • Technically adept with electromechanical systems and hardware.
  • Solid IT skills including MS Office and basic networking knowledge.
  • Must have a valid NZ driver’s licence and a safety-conscious approach.
  • Willingness to work hands-on at customer sites and in workshop environments.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver and install Ricoh devices and accessories.
  • Set up machines on client networks and install software/drivers.
  • Provide basic customer training and support.
  • Diagnose and fix network-related printing/scanning issues.
  • Carry out refurbishments as needed.
  • Keep accurate records and complete paperwork.
  • Support other branches when needed.
  • Seek and suggest process improvements.
  • Take care of company gear.

We're looking for a practical, tech-minded team player to join our Auckland Workshop team as a Workshop & Installation Engineer. You'll be delivering and installing Ricoh devices, helping customers get set up, and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.

A bit about the role

You'll install machines and accessories at customer sites, provide basic training, and troubleshoot any tech issues. Back at base, you'll help with machine maintenance, refurbishments, and warehouse duties. It's a varied role with room to grow and make a real impact.
