Job summary

Canstaff is seeking an experienced Workshop Diesel Mechanic to support our Canterbury operations. You will service, diagnose, and repair mid to heavy earthmoving equipment in a well-equipped workshop.

This permanent, full-time role rewards hands-on troubleshooting and independent work, with a supportive team environment and top rates depending on experience.

You will work on diggers, skid steers, rollers, bulldozers, trucks and forklifts, maintaining uptime and safety standards in a busy workshop.

Qualifications

• Heavy diesel mechanical experience.
• Earthmoving or construction equipment background.
• Strong workshop repair and fault-finding skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
