6am Recruitment in Christchurch is seeking a diesel mechanic to service and repair diesel engines and heavy equipment across construction and earthmoving sectors. You will diagnose faults, perform preventative maintenance, and work with a team in a busy workshop.

The role requires a Certificate 3 in Automotive Trades, valid WTR endorsements, and experience with heavy earthmoving equipment. You will use manuals and some software to locate faults and ensure first-time fixes, with overtime

Qualifications

• Certificate 3 in Automotive Trades is essential.
• Experience diagnosing faults on heavy machinery helps.
• Knowledge with manuals used for fault-finding is required.

Responsibilities
