Job summary

Randstad Group is seeking two IT Support Engineers (L2) for 6-month contracts, based on-site in Whangarei. If you are in Auckland and open to relocating, this role focuses on post-migration support for Windows 11 and related Microsoft technologies.

You will act as the primary escalation point for floorwalkers, handling advanced troubleshooting and triaging issues to the squad Tech Lead, while using Intune, PowerShell, and Azure to manage updates and configurations.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT desktop support or system administration.
• Proficient with Windows 10/11, Intune, Microsoft 365, and Azure.
• Excellent communication and the ability to explain technical steps to staff.
• Bachelor or higher in IT or relevant certifications preferred.
• Auckland-based candidates willing to relocate to Whangarei for 6 months and able to work 100% on-site.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support at the Whangarei site as the primary escalation point.
• Troubleshoot complex hardware, network, login, and MS 365 issues.
• Triage and escalate unresolved issues to the squad Tech Lead.
• Manage deployment tools and scripts (e.g., PowerShell) to push updates.
