Job summary

Millennium Services Group is seeking a full-time Cleaning Technician in Christchurch, NZ. You will perform commercial cleaning tasks across sites, using floor scrubbers and burnishers, to maintain high standards of cleanliness.

Shifts are Sunday to Thursday, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM, with an hourly rate of 33 NZD. A full valid NZ driver’s licence, good English, and valid work rights in New Zealand are required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated cleaning experience in a commercial environment.
• Full and valid Driver’s Licence required.
• You must have good English speaking and comprehension skills.
• Must have valid work rights in New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrated cleaning experience in a commercial environment.
• Experience using floor scrubbers and burnishers.
• Experience in window cleaning with glove and blade.
• Is confident working at heights.
• Experience with floor care equipment such as scrubbers, buffers, or sweepers is a plus.
• Must be available to travel outside of Christchurch when required for work (typically no more than twice per year).
• Full and valid Driver’s Licence required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work autonomously.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Reliable and punctual at work.
• Good understanding of Work Health and Safety standards.
• Able to work flexible hours and public holidays when required.
• You must be 18+ due to policies.
• All communications in English only.
