Job summary

Millennium Services Group in Timaru is seeking enthusiastic part-time cleaners to join our team. You will perform general cleaning duties across client sites, ensuring high standards and a welcoming environment.

Shifts are Tue and Fri 18:00–19:00 with an hourly rate of $24.25. Applicants must have valid NZ work rights and good English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial cleaning preferred.

Millennium have an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic and reliable cleaners to become part of our team at Timaru!

This role is ideal for individuals who love working in a fast-paced environment, have great attention to detail, and enjoy creating clean and welcoming spaces for our clients and customers.

We have Part time position available, with shifts as follows: Tuesday & Friday 1800-1900

Hourly rate: $24.25

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties to a high standard
• Spot cleaning of furnishings
• Sweeping and mopping
• Toilet cleaning.
• Rubbish collection
• Cleaning of glass, both internal and external
• Dusting of all hard surfaces

About You

• Demonstrated cleaning experience, in a commercial environment would be an advantage.
• Proven experience of working in a team successfully.
• The ability to follow instructions and work autonomously.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Can demonstrate strong reliability and punctuality while at work.
• Good understanding of Work Health and Safety standards.
• Ability to work flexible hours and public holidays when required.
• Experience with floor care equipment such as scrubbers, buffers, or sweepers is a plus.
• You must be 18+ due to Company H&S policies.
• All communications including training and health & safety instructions are in English only. You must have good English speaking and comprehension skills.

You must have valid work rights in New Zealand.
