Job summary

Millennium Services Group Limited is seeking enthusiastic and reliable cleaners to join our Wellington team on a part-time basis. You will perform general cleaning duties to a high standard, including sweeping, mopping, toilet cleaning and rubbish collection, in fast-paced environments for our clients.

The role requires attention to detail, reliability and good English, with shifts Monday evening and Tuesday to Friday evenings.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated cleaning experience in a commercial environment is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability with punctuality.
• Excellent customer service skills and good English speaking/comprehension.
• Familiarity with WHS standards and flexibility to work evenings.
• Experience with floor care equipment (scrubbers, buffers, sweepers) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties to a high standard.
• Spot cleaning of furnishings and cleaning of glass surfaces.
• Sweep, mop, empty rubbish, and toilet cleaning.
• Maintain clean, welcoming spaces for clients and customers.

Millennium have an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic and reliable cleaners to become part of our team at Wellington!

This role is ideal for individuals who love working in a fast-paced environment, have great attention to detail, and enjoy creating clean and welcoming spaces for our clients and customers.

We have Part time position available, with shifts as follows:

• Monday: 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm
• Tuesday-Friday: 6:00 pm to 7:45 pm

Hourly rates: $24.50

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties to a high standard
• Spot cleaning of furnishings
• Sweeping and mopping
• Toilet cleaning.
• Rubbish collection
• Cleaning of glass, both internal and external
• Dusting of all hard surfaces

About You

• Demonstrated cleaning experience, in a commercial environment would be an advantage.
• Proven experience of working in a team successfully.
• The ability to follow instructions and work autonomously.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Can demonstrate strong reliability and punctuality while at work.
• Good understanding of Work Health and Safety standards.
• Ability to work flexible hours and public holidays when required.
• Experience with floor care equipment such as scrubbers, buffers, or sweepers is a plus.
• You must be 18+ due to Company H&S policies.
• All communications including training and health & safety instructions are in English only. You must have good English speaking and comprehension skills.
• You must have valid work rights in New Zealand.
