Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties to a high standard.
• Carry out early morning cleaning of car park areas.
• Clear litter from external grounds and common areas.
• Empty and maintain rubbish bins for a clean environment.
• Spot cleaning of furnishings and surfaces; sweeping and mopping.
• Clean toilets and glass surfaces; dust hard surfaces.

The Role

Millennium have an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic and reliable cleaners to become part of our team at Spreydon, Christchurch! This role is ideal for individuals who love working in a fast-paced environment, have great attention to detail, and enjoy creating clean and welcoming spaces for our clients and customers. We have Part time position available, with shifts as follows:

Monday-Friday: 6:00 AM- 9:00 AM

Hourly rate: $24.25

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties to a high standard
• Perform early morning cleaning of car park areas.
• Collect and remove litter from external grounds and common areas.
• Empty and maintain rubbish bins to ensure a clean and presentable environment.
• Spot cleaning of furnishings
• Sweeping and mopping
• Toilet cleaning.
• Cleaning of glass, both internal and external
• Dusting of all hard surfaces

About You

• Demonstrated cleaning experience, in a commercial environment would be an advantage.
• Proven experience of working in a team successfully.
• The ability to follow instructions and work autonomously.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Can demonstrate strong reliability and punctuality while at work.
• Good understanding of Work Health and Safety standards.
• Ability to work flexible hours and public holidays when required.
• Experience with floor care equipment such as scrubbers, buffers, or sweepers is a plus.
• You must be 18+ due to Company H&S policies.
• All communications including training and health & safety instructions are in English only. You must have good English speaking and comprehension skills.

You must have valid work rights in New Zealand.
