Job summary

Higgins is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead the delivery of the Puke Kapo Hau (PKH) Windfarm Project in Dunedin, New Zealand. You will coordinate civil construction activities, manage site teams, subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality, programme and budget are met.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will plan construction programmes, monitor milestones, manage costs, and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders while driving a proactive safety and

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years' experience in civil construction.
• Experience delivering large-scale earthworks and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Leading the delivery of major civil construction works across the project.
• Managing site teams, engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
• Driving a strong health, safety, environmental and quality culture.
• Planning and coordinating construction programmes and resources.
• Monitoring productivity, project milestones, and project performance.
• Managing project budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.
• Building strong relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Identifying and managing project risks and opportunities.
