Job summary

Nordex seeks a Contracts Manager for the Puke Kapo Hau Wind Farm project in New Zealand. You will oversee commercial and contractual management across delivery, coordinating with Project Management, Construction, Procurement and Finance teams to ensure contractual obligations are understood and met.

You’ll manage variations, claims and notices, identify risks, and provide guidance to the project team. This hands-on role requires experience with major projects, wind energy preferred, to support

Qualifications

• Must have strong understanding of construction contracts, contract administration and commercial risk.
• Experience managing variations, notices and contractual negotiations.
• Background in renewable energy, power, infrastructure or major construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage contractual and commercial matters throughout project delivery.
• Administer Nordex's key project contracts and ensure obligations are met.
• Identify, manage and mitigate contractual and commercial risks.
• Manage variations, claims, extensions of time and contractual notices.
• Support negotiations with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor contract performance, milestones and commercial outcomes.
• Maintain accurate contractual records and documentation.
• Collaborate with Project Management, Construction, Procurement and Finance teams.
• Provide commercial and contractual advice to the project team.
• Support resolution of contractual issues and disputes.
