Job summary

Higgins is delivering one of New Zealand's largest renewable energy projects in the Dunedin region. The Construction Manager will lead civil works, manage site teams, and ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to safety standards.

You will coordinate planning, resources and stakeholders, drive cost controls, and uphold Higgins' values while delivering a nationally significant windfarm project.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/masters level civil engineering qualification.
  • Minimum 15 years' experience in civil construction.
  • Proven experience delivering large-scale earthworks and infrastructure.

Job description

Lead the delivery of one of New Zealand's largest renewable energy projects.

Higgins is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join the team delivering the Puke Kapo Hau (PKH) Windfarm Project in the Dunedin region. This is a unique opportunity to play a key leadership role on a major infrastructure project that will contribute to New Zealand's renewable energy future.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating all civil construction activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, on programme, and within budget.

What you'll be doing
  • Leading the delivery of major civil construction works across the project
  • Managing site teams, engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors
