Job summary

NZCL is seeking a part-time Support Worker in Hamilton to join our Whānau Support Services. This role offers 5 guaranteed hours per week with potential to grow, with shifts primarily after 3 pm.

You will support people in their home and community to lead fulfilling lives, helping them achieve personal dreams and goals through activities like swimming, events, arts, and shopping.

Qualifications

• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred, including with youth.
• Full driver’s license and owning your own vehicle is essential.
• Desire to support people to learn new skills and achieve outcomes.
• Energetic, outgoing, and able to think outside the box, while respecting others’ choices.

Responsibilities

We are looking for part-time Support Workers in Hamilton to join our Whānau Support Services. This role offers 5 guaranteed hours per week, with the potential to increase over time. Hours are primarily during the week, with most shifts starting after 3 pm.

You will support people in their home and community to lead fulfilling and meaningful lives to achieve their personal dreams and goals by doing the things they want to do such as going swimming, attending sporting events, arts and crafts, movies, or shopping - the list is endless!
