Job summary

Fulton Hogan is seeking a GIS Specialist in Canterbury to design and support web-based geospatial solutions, translating complex spatial data into practical tools for project decisions. You’ll collaborate with digital, project and operations teams to deliver data-driven insights for resilient infrastructure across Aotearoa.

You will work with a broad mix of spatial data, drive data quality, and deliver solutions that help teams understand what’s happening and what to do next.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ experience configuring and deploying geospatial solutions using ArcGIS.
• Strong understanding of spatial workflows across Esri ArcGIS ecosystem and FME tools.
• Experience delivering web GIS, data processing, and QA in a business environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure and support geospatial solutions using the ArcGIS ecosystem, with a strong focus on web mapping applications.
• Manage and maintain web maps, apps and content across ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise.
• Deliver GIS services including data processing, spatial analysis, quality control and interactive digital information products.
• Gather technical requirements, document business processes and shape practical geospatial solutions for project and business needs.
• Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and support wider adoption of geospatial technology across the business.
• Identify opportunities to improve data integration, efficiency and decision-making; while keeping safety, quality and environmental standards front of mind.
