Job summary

HEB Construction is seeking a Senior GIS Analyst to join the Digital Team in New Zealand. You will develop and maintain GIS applications, manage spatial data, and deliver analyses to support major infrastructure projects across the country.

Based in Auckland or Wellington, you will collaborate with project teams and clients, with 2–3 days per month travel required to sites. The role focuses on digital transformation, GIS integrations, and capability development, offering flexible location

Qualifications

Senior GIS or geospatial role experience is required.
Strong proficiency with Esri ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online.
Experience with data integration or workflow automation (e.g., FME, Python) is preferred.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with clients and partners.
Ability to translate complex spatial data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain GIS applications and spatial data assets.
Deliver spatial analyses and insights to support decision making and projects.
Support digital infrastructure and digitisation initiatives across the business.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to solve geospatial challenges.
Champion best practices and contribute to capability development within the team.
