Job summary

Fulton Hogan is seeking a GIS Specialist to join our Canterbury team in Christchurch. You will design and support web-based geospatial solutions, transforming complex spatial data into practical tools to help our projects on the ground.

You’ll work across digital, project and operational teams with a focus on web GIS, data quality and analytical delivery, turning ideas into actionable insights that support safer, smarter infrastructure delivery.

Qualifications

At least 3 years’ experience configuring and deploying geospatial solutions using ArcGIS.
Strong understanding of spatial workflows across Esri ArcGIS and FME tools.
Experience delivering web GIS, data processing, analysis and QA in a business setting.
Collaborative approach with both technical and non-technical teams.
Safe, quality-driven mindset with ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

Design, configure and support geospatial solutions using the ArcGIS ecosystem, with a focus on web mapping.
Manage and maintain web maps, apps and content across ArcGIS Online and Enterprise.
Deliver GIS services including data processing, spatial analysis, quality control and interactive products.
Gather requirements, document processes and shape practical geospatial solutions for projects.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders and promote geospatial adoption across the business.
Identify data integration and efficiency opportunities while prioritising safety and quality.
