Job summary

Asmuss is seeking a Warehouse Operator to join our Christchurch - Rolleston team on a permanent full-time basis. You will handle stock inbound to outbound, using forklift and reach truck, while keeping the space organized and safe.

A 2-5 year track record in warehouse operations and a current forklift licence are essential. You will contribute to loading/unloading deliveries, participate in stock takes, and support general warehouse tasks.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years’ experience in warehouse operations.
• Current forklift licence is required.
• Full, clean Driver’s Licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, checking, barcoding, and putting stock away.
• Picking and packing orders in a timely manner.
• Operate warehouse mobile equipment including forklift and reach truck.
• Keep warehouse spaces tidy, organized and safe at all times.
• Assist with loading and unloading deliveries.
• Support stock-takes and inventory checks; report discrepancies.
• Pitch in with general warehouse tasks to keep operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

You’llbe involved in all aspects of stock handling, from inwards to outwards, including:

• Receiving, checking, barcoding, andputting stock away.
• Picking and packing orders in a timely manner.
• Ability to use all the warehouse mobile equipment includingforklift &reach truck.
• Keeping warehouse spaces tidy, organised, and safeat all times.
• Assistingwith loading and unloading deliveries.
• Supporting stock-takes and inventorychecks, andreporting any discrepancies.
• Pitching in with general warehouse tasks to keep things running smoothly.

We are ideally looking for someone with 2-5 years’experience inwarehouse operations, a current forklift licence and a full, clean Driver's Licence. An F-endorsement would be advantageous but is not essential.

You’ll bring a positive, can-do attitude, a willingness to get stuck in, and the ability to stay focused and solutions-oriented when working to deadlines.
