Job summary

Asmuss Mt Maunganui are seeking a solutions-focused Customer Service & Warehouse Operations Rep to join our Mount Maunganui branch. This role links customers, sales, and warehouse to ensure product movement and exceptional service.

You’ll build relationships, answer product queries, provide pricing and stock information, process orders, and support promotions. Safety and quality are at the forefront, and forklift certification is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, warehousing, or similar operational environment.
• Enjoys working with customers and providing practical solutions.
• Has strong communication and organisational skills.
• Can confidently use computer systems and learn new software.
• Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Is proactive, reliable, and willing to roll up their sleeves when needed.
• Holds a current forklift licence (or is willing to obtain one).

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with customers through phone, email, and face-to-face interactions.
• Assist customers with product information, pricing, stock availability, deliveries, account enquiries and receiving and processing orders.
• Prepare and follow up quotations and support our sales team with reporting and administration.
• Participate in promotions and initiatives to grow sales and strengthen customer engagement.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with stocktakes.
• Assist with steel cutting and other branch operational tasks.
• Ensure Health, Safety and Quality are at the forefront of everything you do.
