Job summary

Asmuss is seeking a dedicated Storeperson to join our Rolleston site on a permanent, full-time basis. The role operates on a day shift from 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday, and involves stock handling from inbound to outbound, picking and packing orders, and using forklift and reach truck.

Applicants should have 2–5 years in warehouse operations, a clean full driver’s licence (F endorsement preferred), be physically fit, and possess good communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in warehouse operations, with forklift experience.
• Clean full driver’s licence; F-endorsement preferred but not essential.
• Computer literate with good communication skills.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and be on your feet.
• Solution-focused and resilient under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound stock, including receiving, checking, barcoding and stock put-away.
• Pick and pack orders in a timely manner.
• Operate warehouse equipment (forklift, reach truck).
• Keep warehouse tidy, safe and organized.
• Assist with loading/unloading deliveries.
• Support stocktakes and report discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities

You’llbe involved in all aspects of stock handling, from inwards to outwards, including:

• Receiving, checking, barcoding, andputting stock away.
• Picking and packing orders in a timely manner.
• Ability to use all the warehouse mobile equipment includingforklift &reach truck.
• Keeping warehouse spaces tidy, organised, and safeat all times.
• Assistingwith loading and unloading deliveries.
• Supporting stocktakes and inventorychecks, andreporting any discrepancies.
• Pitching in with general warehouse tasks to keep things running smoothly.

We are ideally looking for someone who has

• 2-5 years’experience inwarehouse operations, especially with a forklift
• Must have a clean fulldriver'slicence–F-endorsement is preferred and makes you a standout candidate, but not essential.
• Computer literate and excellent communication skills
• Ability to be in a physically demanding job and on your feet
