Auckland-based, well-established, New Zealand-owned industrial manufacturing company is seeking a reliable Warehouse & Site Operations Assistant to run an organised warehouse, handle stock, dispatch and receiving, and help maintain a safe, tidy site.

You will work with the team to load/unload, pick and pack orders, maintain accurate stock records, assist with local pickups and deliveries, and support workshop and yard duties as required, with opportunities to develop into leadership roles.

Qualifications

  • Reliable, punctual and keen to learn.
  • Mechanically minded with understanding of how machines work.
  • Good attention to detail with stock and paperwork.
  • Organised and pride in a clean, tidy work area.
  • Comfortable using common hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, check and put away incoming goods.
  • Load and unload containers and trucks safely and efficiently.
  • Pick, pack and prepare orders for dispatch.
  • Check stock against packing lists and carry out regular stock counts.
  • Label parts, racking and inventory accurately.
  • Keep the warehouse organised, with stock stored correctly and easy to locate.
  • Prepare parts and equipment for storage and dispatch.
  • Assist with local pickups and deliveries.
  • Carry out general workshop and yard work as required.
  • Clean and maintain the warehouse, workshop and yard areas.

Job description

A well-established and growing New Zealand-owned industrial manufacturing company is seeking a reliable, hands-on Warehouse & Site Operations Assistant. This role is centred on running an organised, efficient warehouse, with general workshop and site operations duties as required. You will handle stock, dispatch and receiving, and help keep our site organised, safe and well maintained.

This is a long-term role for someone who wants to grow with the business. As we expand there are genuine opportunities to develop into other roles, including leadership and management, for the right person.

Key responsibilities
  • Receive, check and put away incoming goods

About you
