Job summary

EBOS Group’s ProPharma Christchurch operation seeks an experienced warehouse supervisor to lead daily activities, ensuring productivity, quality, safety and customer service. You will direct team members, manage resources and labour, and drive continuous improvement to meet internal targets and SLAs.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising or leading staff in a warehouse, logistics, distribution, or operations environment.
• Strong people management and communication skills.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and develop team members.
• Good attention to detail and a strong customer service focus.
• Confidence managing priorities, workload, and operational deadlines.
• An understanding of modern warehousing practices.
• Experience promoting and managing health and safety standards.
• The ability to set realistic goals and drive accountability.
• A desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
• A demonstrated “can do, will do” attitude.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, motivate, train, and support warehouse team members.
• Ensure staffing levels are appropriate for workload and productivity targets.
• Set clear expectations and provide regular feedback on team performance.
• Drive performance and efficiency improvements.
• Support staff development, training, performance management, and disciplinary processes.
• Ensure warehouse operations are completed safely, efficiently, and accurately.
• Maintain high service levels in line with company targets and customer expectations.
• Promote a strong health and safety culture across the warehouse.
• Support continuous improvement by reviewing processes, workflows, layout, and resource use.
• Help manage labour, wages, hours, and contract labour in line with budget requirements.
• Ensure policies, procedures, and operational standards are followed.
• Promote the EBOS vision, values, and purpose.
