NZ Safety Blackwoods in Christchurch is seeking a Warehouse Inwards Supervisor to lead and develop a hands-on team responsible for inbound stock reception, processing and storage with a strong focus on safety and accuracy.

You will manage daily inwards operations, prioritise activities, coach staff, and drive continuous improvement across the distribution centre to ensure high-performance results.

What You'll Be Doing

As our Warehouse Inwards Supervisor, you'll play a key role in ensuring inbound stock is received, processed, and stored accurately and efficiently while leading a team to achieve strong operational performance.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Leading, coaching and developing a team of warehouse team members
• Managing daily inwards operations to ensure timely and accurate receipting of stock
• Monitoring workflow and prioritising inbound activities to meet business requirements
• Investigating discrepancies and coordinating resolutions with internal stakeholders
• Driving productivity, accuracy and continuous improvement initiatives

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

• 3+ Years of previous warehouse leadership or supervisory experience
• Strong knowledge of warehouse and distribution operations, particularly inbound logistics
• Experience leading teams and developing employee capability
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Forklift licence
• A proactive, hands-on leadership style
• A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
