NZ Safety Blackwoods is seeking a Warehouse Inwards Supervisor at our Christchurch Distribution Centre to lead a hands-on team. You will ensure inbound stock is received, processed, and stored accurately while driving strong operational performance.

The successful candidate will bring 3+ years of warehouse leadership experience, expertise in inbound logistics, WMS proficiency, and a proactive safety-focused leadership style. Join a collaborative team and contribute to a growing operation.

Qualificações

• 3+ Years of warehouse leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse and distribution operations, inbound logistics.
• Experience leading teams and developing employee capability.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organisational skills and prioritisation abilities.
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Forklift licence is required.
• Hands-on leadership style with safety focus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and coach a team of warehouse members to deliver inbound performance.
• Oversee daily inwards operations, ensuring timely, accurate stock receipting.
• Prioritise inbound activities to meet business needs and schedules.
• Investigate discrepancies and coordinate resolutions with internal stakeholders.
• Drive productivity, accuracy and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support inventory accuracy and stock integrity processes.
• Maintain strong focus on health, safety and wellbeing.
• Provide leadership support across the distribution centre as needed.

What You'll Be Doing

As our Warehouse Inwards Supervisor, you'll play a key role in ensuring inbound stock is received, processed, and stored accurately and efficiently while leading a team to achieve strong operational performance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading, coaching and developing a team of warehouse team members
• Managing daily inwards operations to ensure timely and accurate receipting of stock
• Monitoring workflow and prioritising inbound activities to meet business requirements
• Investigating discrepancies and coordinating resolutions with internal stakeholders
• Driving productivity, accuracy and continuous improvement initiatives
• Supporting inventory accuracy and stock integrity processes
• Maintaining a strong focus on health, safety and wellbeing
• Assisting with broader warehouse operations and providing leadership support across the DC as required

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

• 3+ Years of previous warehouse leadership or supervisory experience
• Strong knowledge of warehouse and distribution operations, particularly inbound logistics
• Experience leading teams and developing employee capability
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Forklift licence
• A proactive, hands‑on leadership style
• A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
