Job summary

Mills Recruitment client in Wanaka is seeking a proactive local representative to lead and grow the company’s presence. You’ll build relationships with local businesses, organisations and consumers and help develop a new Wanaka walk-in store.

You’ll also coordinate national hardware and software procurement and account administration, with the busiest period through mid-May before workloads ease. The role offers hands-on training, flexible hours and a clear path to advance in a trans‑Tasman tech

Qualifications

• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in quoting, orders and reporting.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build client relationships.
• Willingness to complete certification training (Apple and Microsoft).
• Experience in procurement, sales administration, account coordination or IT (bonus).

Responsibilities

• Building relationships with local businesses, organisations and consumers, and helping develop the Wanaka walk-in store.
• Preparing accurate sales quotes, and coordinating and processing client orders.
• Running hardware and software procurement nationwide (training provided).
• Managing client renewals for hardware, software and Microsoft 365 agreements.
• Adding and removing Microsoft licences, and keeping accounts and spreadsheets up to date.
• Compiling and submitting monthly SPLA and KPI reports, and completing recurring tasks such as MSA changes and OM scheduling.
• Providing admin support, including coordinating the on-call roster.
