Job summary

OceanaGold Corporation invites a motivated student to join our Waihi Operation in New Zealand as a paid intern in the Commercial team. The program runs mid-November 2026 through mid-February 2027, with a 9-day fortnight and 40.5 hours per week on-site.

You will work on diverse projects, gain real-world experience in mining economics, budgeting, and property data, and present learnings to Site Management at program end. Accommodation nearby is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Business, Commerce, Accounting or Finance.
• Available mid-November 2026 to mid-February 2027.
• Unrestricted New Zealand working rights.
• Full Class 1 drivers licence (manual preferred).
• Strong academic performance and passion for your field.

Responsibilities

• Gain practical experience on diverse projects with the Commercial team.
• Present experiences and key learnings to Site Management at internship end.
• Participate in group activities and projects with other interns to gain broad mining knowledge.
