Indevin is seeking Laboratory Technicians to join the Hawke's Bay Vintage team for the 2027 season. You will support winery operations by carrying out laboratory analyses, including grape maturity work and fermentation sampling, in a fast-paced environment.
Ideal candidates bring laboratory chemistry experience, a practical mindset, and the ability to work long shifts during peak vintage. A pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening will be required.

As we gear up for Vintage 2027, we're on the hunt for Laboratory Technicians to join our Hawke's Bay Vintage team. In this hands-on role, you will support our winery operations by carrying out a range of laboratory analyses, including:
Collect samples and complete analysis in our laboratory
Grape maturity analysis
Sampling and testing ferments
Other analyses consistent with industry best practice
These will be full time, fixed term roles to support with our seasonal Vintage requirements.
Typically, our vintages run from mid-February to late-April. Because of the nature of our business, our vintage dates might change slightly, but we will always keep you up-to-date with the latest information as we get it.
Whether you've been studying a relevant qualification or you bring several Vintages experience in a Lab - we have a role for you!
To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
Laboratory experience within chemistry (winery experience will be beneficial)
A practical approach
Thrive under pressure and working to tight deadlines
We work under high pressure and tight deadlines during vintage, so you'll need to thrive in that environment, work well in a team and be physically fit
Available to work shifts of up to 12 hours, 6 days per week, at vintage peak
Be prepared to undertake a pre-employment medical examination and drug and alcohol test
