Excitement is growing at Indevin as we gear up for the most exhilarating time of the year: vintage!
Home to Villa Maria, our vision is to be one of the world’s great wine companies, sharing the best of New Zealand wine with the world.
Our grapes come from over 6,000 hectares of planted vineyards and blended in our wineries across three of the renowned wine regions - Marlborough, Hawke’s Bay, and Gisborne - and our wines are exported globally. From grape to glass, we’re passionate about wine and we love what we do!
Vintage 2027 is fast approaching and we’re getting ready!

For the team at the heart of this annual experience, there's much more to be made in addition to wine. You'll make great friends (it'll feel like family by the end), good money, new skills and incredible memories. Whether you've been studying a relevant qualification or you bring several Vintages experience in a Lab - we have a role for you!
You will collect samples and complete analysis in our laboratory -
Laboratory Technicians with less experience will operate as "runners" - they will have a stronger focus on collecting samples from around the winery and completing simple analysis within the lab
If you bring Laboratory experience within a winery, you will likely spend less time collecting samples from around the winery and focus more on more complicated analysis of grapes, juices, ferments and wine in the lab
These will be full time, fixed term roles to support with our seasonal Vintage requirements.
Typically, our vintages run from late-February to mid-April and we're looking for teams to support our Vintage period and post-Vintage operations. Because of the nature of our business, our vintage dates might change slightly, but we will always keep you up-to-date with the latest information as we get it.
We have vacancies available for both entry level and experienced Laboratory Technicians. Whether you've been studying in a related field and are looking to gain working experience within a laboratory OR you are a seasoned Laboratory Technician who has worked several vintages in wineries- we want to hear from you!
