Job summary

Delegat is seeking an experienced Vineyard Operator to join our Marlborough viticulture team. Reporting to the Vineyard Manager, you will operate tractors and machinery, apply sprays, manage irrigation, perform hands-on vineyard maintenance and participate in harvest activities.

The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with overtime during peak seasons. A safe, collaborative environment supports growth and development within a global wine company.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in viticulture / horticulture / agricultural machinery operations.
• Viticulture/horticulture qualifications would be an advantage.
• Clean driver’s license; ability to work outdoors and stay physically fit.
• Goal-oriented with high attention to detail and safety mindset.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

We are seeking experienced Vineyard Operators to join our Marlborough viticulture teams. Reporting to the Vineyard Manager, responsibilities will include:

Tractor and machinery operations

Spray applications

Irrigation operations

Hands-on vineyard maintenance

Harvest operations

This is a full-time permanent role offering 40 hours a week Monday – Friday. Extra hours and weekend work will be required during peak seasons.

About you

You have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in viticulture / horticulture / agricultural machinery operations

Viticulture/horticulture qualifications would be an advantage

You have a clean driver’s license, love working outdoors and are physically fit to perform the duties

You achieve goals by demonstrating a high level of attention to detail and a safety mindset

You are an excellent communicator and a team player
