Job summary

Whitehaven Wine Company in Blenheim, Marlborough, is seeking a committed Vineyard Operator for a full-time, permanent role reporting to the Vineyard Manager. You'll be responsible for tractor and machinery operations, spray applications, trellis and irrigation maintenance, trimming, mowing and general grounds work, all performed outdoors in varying weather conditions.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of vineyard experience, a full driver’s license, a can-do attitude, and a focus on

About the Role

This is a full‑time permanent position reporting to the Vineyard Manager.

Key tasks will include:

• Tractor and machinery operations
• Spray applications
• Trellis and irrigation maintenance
• Trimming, mowing and leaf plucking
• General grounds keeping

About You

You will be physically fit and have a love for working outdoors in all weather conditions. You will be competent in all aspects of vineyard operations and will be / have:

• a minimum of 2 years' experience as a vineyard operator
• a positive "can-do" attitude
• ability to work flexible hours
• the ability to solve problems, using your initiative
• a strong focus on safety
• a team player with a great sense of humour!
• a full driver's license
