Job summary

Jora New Zealand is seeking workers for seasonal vineyard tasks in Otago/Cromwell. Tasks include pruning, planting, thinning, weed control, irrigation, harvest prep and general vineyard upkeep.

You should be fit, outdoors-ready, and legally allowed to work in New Zealand; prior viticulture or horticulture experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience in viticulture or horticulture is advantageous.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors.
• Legal right to work in New Zealand.
• Able to communicate respectfully with diverse cultures.

• Winter pruning
• Vine removal and planting
• Shoot thinning
• Tucking and clipping
• Fruit thinning
• Weed control (hand weeding)
• Irrigation installation, maintenance and removal
• Net application and removal
• Harvest preparation and harvest activities

• General vineyard maintenance

Qualifications and Experience required:

• Viticulture or Horticulture experience (advantageous)
