Job summary

Longfield Farm is seeking a hands-on Vineyard Worker to join a small, inclusive team across multiple Marlborough sites. Reporting to the vineyard manager, you will perform spraying, trimming, mowing, irrigation maintenance, trellising upkeep and general repairs with safe, well-maintained equipment.

You will work full time in New Zealand, enjoy on-the-job training, opportunities for career development, and a tidy, collaborative environment that values safety and quality grapes.

Qualifications

• Interest in producing high quality grapes.

• Experience operating machinery and daily maintenance.

Reporting to the vineyard manager, this role involves working as part of a small team and covers all vineyard operational tasks including spraying, trimming, leaf removal, mowing, irrigation maintenance, trellising maintenance, and any other general vineyard repairs. You will enjoy working safely and efficiently with modern and well maintained equipment, on the job training and a fun and inclusive work environment.

Longfield Farm was established in 1870 and has been run by the same family since inception. Our business now encompasses 3 separate sites across Marlborough, predominately planted in Sauvignon Blanc with smaller plantings of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Syrah.
