OceanaGold invites a motivated Geology student to join our Underground Geology team at Waihi. This paid internship runs mid-November to mid-February, with 50 hours per week, Monday to Friday, on-site in the Coromandel region.

Qualifications

• Currently in 2nd last or final year of study in geology/Earth sciences.
• NZ working rights must be unrestricted.
• Full Class 1 driver's licence (manual preferred).

Responsibilities

• Support underground geologists on projects and data collection.
• Assist with field and data-entry tasks on-site at Waihi.
• Present learnings to Site Management at internship end.
