OceanaGold Corporation is offering a paid internship at our Waihi operation in New Zealand for a student studying towards a BSc in Geology or Earth Sciences. The role runs mid-November to mid-February, with a 9-day fortnight roster, 7:00 am to 4:30 pm, and on-site work.
You will gain practical geological experience, participate in core logging, sampling, database support, and project work, and present learnings to the Site Management Team at the end of the internship.

This paid internship opportunity will run approximately from mid-November through to mid-February (dependent on exam timetable of the successful applicant) working with our talented Resource Development—Exploration &Geology team on-site at Waihi. The hours of work are 7 : 00 am to 4 : 30 pm, working a 9 ‑day fortnight roster ( 5 days on, 2 days off, 4 days on, 3 days off) 40 . 5 hrs per week.
