Job summary

Aliaxis is seeking a motivated Territory Manager to oversee customer relationships across Auckland (East, Central & North) and Northland, expanding market share for our plumbing product portfolio. You will develop existing relationships and uncover new opportunities while delivering technical support and product knowledge.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in territory sales, account management, plumbing, construction or a related trade environment.
• Plumbing trade background or technical product knowledge would be highly regarded.
• Demonstrated project sales experience, including influencing specifications and converting opportunities.
• Strong negotiation, influencing, and communication skills with ability to promote value propositions.
• Proven ability to work independently across a large territory while staying collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with wholesalers, end users, and key stakeholders while managing existing accounts and identifying new growth opportunities.
• Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
• Provide customers with product knowledge, technical advice, demonstrations, presentations, and ongoing support.
• Conduct regular customer visits and implement territory plans aligned with regional sales objectives.
• Use sales data and market insights to refine the sales approach and improve territory performance.
• Coordinate product launches, trade events, promotions and campaigns in the territory.
• Collaborate with Marketing to execute market development strategies and ensure timely service.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing movements to identify opportunities.
• Maintain CRM records of customer interactions and opportunities.
