Job summary

Transpower New Zealand is seeking a detail-oriented Tender Administrator to join our Procurement Services team in Wellington. You will manage published tender processes from release to market, coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure fairness, transparency and robust documentation.

The role supports continual improvement across tender administration, systems and reporting, with a focus on accuracy, confidentiality and auditability in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in structured, process-led environments where accuracy and auditability matter.
• Ability to plan, organise and juggle multiple priorities at pace.
• Excellent attention to detail with record-keeping and documentation.
• Professionalism in managing internal and external communications.
• Ability to use systems and data to track activity and support reporting.
• Identify process gaps, risks or issues and raise them appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer Transpower’s published tender processes from release to market.
• Coordinate between Transpower and suppliers and communicate tender status.
• Ensure tender activity is fair, transparent, well documented and aligned with procurement policies.
• Maintain clear records, approvals and audit trails; support continual improvement.
• Support tender administration systems and reporting enhancements.
