Job summary

Transpower New Zealand Limited in Wellington is seeking a Coordinator to manage procurement tenders from release to market, ensuring fair and well-documented processes and strong governance.

You will work with internal stakeholders and suppliers, maintaining records, documenting workflows and supporting continuous improvement in tender administration and reporting. A tertiary qualification or CIPS is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience in structured, process-led environments where accuracy, confidentiality, fairness and auditability matter.
• Strong planning, organisation and time management to handle multiple priorities at pace.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain clear records, approvals and documentation.
• Sound judgement and professionalism in managing internal and external communications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate published tender processes from release to market, including supplier communications and award notifications.
• Act as central point of coordination between Transpower and suppliers to ensure fairness and governance.
• Maintain records and audit trails, supporting continuous improvement of tender administration, systems and reporting.
• Identify process gaps, risks or issues and raise them appropriately.
