Qualifications

• Experience in structured, process-led environments where accuracy, confidentiality, fairness and auditability matter.
• Strong planning, organisation and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities at pace.
• Excellent attention to detail and confidence maintaining clear records, approvals and documentation.
• Sound judgement and professionalism when managing both internal and external communications.
• Confidence using systems and data to track activity, maintain accurate information and support reporting.
• Ability to identify process gaps, risks or issues and raise them appropriately.
• Experience with procurement, tendering, probity or contract administration in New Zealand would be useful; a formal qualification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer Transpower's published tender processes from release to market.
• Handle supplier communications and award notifications.
• Coordinate between Transpower and suppliers to ensure fair, transparent tender activity aligned with procurement policies.
• Maintain clear records and audit trails; support continual improvement across tender administration, systems and reporting.
• Assist internal stakeholders in following the correct processes and contribute to reporting.
