Job summary

Transpower New Zealand Limited is seeking a Procurement Services Manager to lead procurement governance, systems, reporting and service delivery performance across the function. You'll set up centre-led procurement to enable better supplier decisions and enterprise value while embedding controls and commercial rigour.

Qualifications

• Experience leading procurement operations or shared services within a large organisation.
• Proven people leadership capability with ability to develop teams and improve service delivery.
• Strong understanding of procurement governance, supplier and contract management, and operational controls.
• Experience designing, improving and embedding business processes, service models and systems.
• Strong digital and analytical capability with reporting and data insights.
• Demonstrated success leading change or transformation initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across leadership groups.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement services, systems and governance to ensure efficient, robust delivery.
• Continuously improve procurement systems, workflows, controls and digital tools.
• Embed governance, policies and delegated authorities with assurance processes.
• Strengthen supplier, contract and performance information to improve decision-making and risk management.
• Own end-to-end reporting, insights and performance measures demonstrating value.
• Drive capability development and adoption of procurement frameworks across the organisation.
• Partner with stakeholders to improve procurement outcomes and user experience.
