As a Telephone Operator, you will play an important role inproviding a 24/7 communication service for Nelson Hospital. Working in a busycall centre environment, you'll answer incoming calls, provide after-hoursreception support, assist staff and members of the public, and respond toemergency situations as they arise.
We have day, evening, and night shifts available.Flexibility to work additional shifts from time to time to assist with coveringstaff leave and illness would be advantageous.

As a Telephone Operator, you willhave a friendly and approachable manner, excellent communication skills, and astrong customer service focus. You will be highly organised, able to multitaskeffectively, and remain calm under pressure.

Previousswitchboard experience would be advantageous but is not essential, as fulltraining will be provided to the successful candidate.
The successful candidate must be eligible to work in NewZealand or hold a valid NZ visa at the time of applying.
