Job summary

Allevia Kensington Hospital in Whangārei seeks a pragmatic, hands-on Technology Manager to lead technology operations, cyber security coordination and supplier performance across our growing private surgical hospital.

Reporting to the CEO, this role ensures a reliable, secure and scalable technology environment, staying close to day-to-day operations while providing strategic direction and hands-on support when required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading technology operations within a healthcare or regulated environment.
• Ability to translate technical risk and investment into business decision support.
• Strong governance, process and incident response capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead technology operations, support, escalations and incident response.
• Provide technical leadership across networks, infrastructure, devices and clinical applications.
• Coordinate cyber security improvement, privacy, risk, backup and business continuity controls.
• Manage technology suppliers, vendors, assets, licences and lifecycle planning.
• Improve onboarding, off-boarding, access management and service practices.
• Translate organisational priorities into a practical technology roadmap for leaders.
• Coach the Technology Support Specialist and build workforce capability.
