We provide essential hospital, specialist and community health services across 80+ locations, from large urban centres to rural towns and remote communities. Our goal is to improve health outcomes for all New Zealanders by delivering equitable, accessible and innovative care.
As a Software Consultant within our Digital Applications and Products team, you'll play an important role in developing, maintaining and supporting applications, services and system integrations that enable digital applications and systems to work together effectively.
Working closely with Architects, Product Owners, Business Analysts, Testers and other Developers, you'll contribute across the full software development lifecycle, from understanding requirements and designing solutions through to development, testing, deployment and ongoing support.
You'll help ensure our integrations are secure, scalable and reliable, while troubleshooting technical issues, supporting incident resolution and identifying opportunities to improve system performance and functionality.
This is an opportunity to apply your integration development expertise in a complex enterprise environment where your work helps enable better digital services for healthcare professionals and the communities they serve.
You're a proactive and collaborative integration specialist who enjoys solving technical problems, improving system reliability and delivering quality solutions. You can communicate technical concepts clearly to a range of audiences, adapt to changing priorities and build strong relationships across technical and business teams.
You're passionate about continuous improvement and understand the importance of secure, reliable integrations in supporting digital applications and healthcare services.
At Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to digital solutions that support healthcare delivery nationwide. You'll work with a diverse group of professionals, share ideas and expertise, and help improve the reliability, performance and connectivity of the applications our teams depend on.
If you're an integration specialist who enjoys tackling technical challenges, working collaboratively and seeing the real-world impact of your work, we'd love to hear from you.
Please note: From time to time, this role may require travel, work outside normal business hours or participation in an on-call roster to support incidents, deployments and critical services.
Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is committed to delivering excellent healthcare for all New Zealanders. We embrace diversity and inclusion so that our workforce reflects the communities we serve. We welcome applications from our diverse Māori, Pacific, disabled, and rainbow communities.
