Job summary

Belron New Zealand is seeking an experienced Autoglass Technician to repair, replace, and recalibrate vehicle glass with precision. You will be the face of our service, advising customers and upselling value-added products while delivering top-quality workmanship.

Join a supportive team across Smith&Smith, Laser and Exceed brands with opportunities for overseas assignments and on-the-job national certification, working 40 hours weekly in Porirua.

Qualifications

  • 3 years' Autoglass repair and replacement experience.
  • Excellent English communication and customer service.
  • Clean driver's license (restricted or full class).
  • Unrestricted rights to work in New Zealand.
  • Willing to undergo pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 25 kg.
  • Ability to upsell value-added products and services.

You’ll also be the face of our service, working directly with customers to provide expert advice, offer value‑added products, and ensure every interaction is a great one. Your commitment to exceptional customer service will make a real difference.

  • Location: Smith&Smith Porirua
  • Hours: 40 hours, rostered across the week (Monday to Friday)
What we’re looking for
  • Motivated people with a passion for hands‑on work, and a genuine interest in advancing technical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • 3 years' Autoglass repair and replacement experience.
  • A passion for exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to upsell value‑added products and services.
  • Physical capability to repetitively lift heavy items (25kg) during a normal working day.
  • A clean driver's license (restricted or full class) is a minimum requirement.
  • You must have unrestricted rights to work in New Zealand.
  • Must be willing to complete a drug and alcohol pre‑employment test as part of our selection process.
