Job summary

Belron New Zealand is hiring an Autoglass Technician to repair, replace and recalibrate vehicle glass while delivering outstanding customer service. Training towards a National Certificate in Automotive Reglazing (Level 3) NZQF will be provided, with opportunities for overseas assignments within the Belron group.

The role is based at Smith&Smith Rollestone with a 40‑hour week and rostered shifts across the week.

Qualifications

• No prior Autoglass repair and replacement experience is necessary as training is provided.
• Good communication in English and a customer‑focussed approach.
• Ability to upsell value‑added products and services.

Responsibilities

• Repair, replace and recalibrate vehicle glass using industry tools.
• Provide expert advice to customers and ensure a positive service experience.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 25 kg as part of daily duties.

Hours: 40 hours, rostered across the week (Mondays to Sundays)

What we’re looking for

Motivated people with a passion for hands‑on work, and a genuine interest in advancing technical skills with a keen eye for detail.

No prior Autoglass repair and replacement experience is necessary as we provide comprehensive training.

A passion for exceptional customer service.

Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to upsell value‑added products and services.

Physical capability to repetitively lift heavy items (25kg) during a normal working day.

A clean driver’s license (restricted or full class) is a minimum requirement.

You must have unrestricted rights to work in New Zealand.

Must be willing to complete a drug and alcohol pre‑employment test as part of our selection process.
