Job description

Jora New Zealand will close on 9th September 2026. Thank you for being with us, we are cheering you on as you continue your career journey.

You’ll manage our digital platforms by helping users, spotting what’s broken, what’s slow and what could be automated away entirely. That means digging into real systems, talking to the people who use them, and shipping changes that stick.

A big part of the role is finding where AI and automation genuinely help (and where they don’t). You’ll work across business teams, tech teams, and vendors, which means you’ll see how the whole thing fits together, not just your slice of it.

You’ll be a good fit if you like pushing boundaries with modern tech, and like fixing things that annoy people.

Key responsibilities:

Proactively deliver system improvements that enhance performance, user experience and business value.

Support, configure and optimise digital platforms to ensure strong performance, reliability and user experience.

Partner with stakeholders, IT and vendor teams to deliver technology solutions aligned with business goals.

Map, analyse and improve end-to-end processes, using AI and automation to drive efficiency.

Communicate system changes, provide user training, and ensure successful implementation of new capabilities.

Balance BAU operational support with strategic projects, ensuring all changes deliver measurable business value.

Location: Smith&Smith Support Office (1 Carmont Place, Mount Wellington, Auckland

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

What we’re looking for

Around 2-3 years in a technology-focused role.

A knack for figuring out how business systems work, then making them work better.

Hands-on experience using AI and automation to cut out manual work.

Comfort with process mapping and analysis, you can look at a messy workflow and see the shape of a better one.

Experience managing stakeholders, vendors, and priorities that all claim to be urgent.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into practical business outcomes.

A degree in IT, Computer Science, or something related

Experience in the Microsoft stack preferred (Azure, Power Platform, Dynamics)
