Job summary

Soudal Group in Christchurch, Canterbury, is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer – Industry for South Island. This full-time, indefinite role involves direct customer engagement and growing our local customer base.

You'll bring engineering or science background and at least 5 years in a technical sales role. You will support the Technical Manager on projects while building strong relationships and delivering solutions.

Technical Sales Engineer - Industry - South Island

Fulltime. Indefinitely. New Zealand Christchurch Central, Canterbury.

We are looking for a qualified engineer, science graduate or technically minded individual with a few years of experience in a customer facing role.

• Ideally, should have a passion for finding technical solutions to the challenges faced by our customers. Armed with strong relationship skills and self-confidence, you will enjoy face time with customers and be accountable for growing the customer base.
• Leaning into your technical competencies, you will also support our technical manager with several projects and activities.

The role will report to our Business Manager - Industry.

Profile

• You will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a technical sales role ideally within the wider construction or manufacturing industries.
• While sealant and adhesives experience interest us, we keep an open mind to industry experience.
• Attitude matters much more to us, as does strong communication skills, proven results and solution-oriented problem solving.
