Jora New Zealand is seeking a Technical Sales Consultant / Estimator in Tauranga. The role blends sales, quoting and estimating with the aim of delivering informed decisions to clients. You will build relationships, negotiate deals and stay ahead in a competitive market.
The package includes an excellent salary, a vehicle or allowance and a performance bonus, with earnings potential advertised at 90,000–140,000 NZD including bonuses.

- Experience with estimating software or ERP systems is advantageous.

This is a varied role combining sales skills with estimating and quoting. You will ensure potential clients are well-informed by comparing 'Apples with Apples - not with Pears', so they are making solid choices based on both pricing and the quality of product and workmanship that we offer over our competitors. You will build strong relationships, earn trust, negotiate successful deals, and keep updated and ahead in a competitive market.
We are a well-established, growing company supplying a premium product to the building/construction and interior fit-out industry. Our reputation has been built on technical expertise, exceptional service, competitive pricing, and delivering quality workmanship across a wide variety of residential and commercial projects.
Do you enjoy working with designers, cabinet makers, and project managers, using your well-honed sales, quoting, and estimating skills to gain and retain their business? Are you someone who enjoys solving challenges? Sales and business development experience is key to this role's success, as is the ability to manage existing high-level accounts with excellent communication skills, understand your clients' needs, and retain their business. You will need to keep your finger on the pulse at all times, stay ahead of the game, and know where to hunt out new opportunities. You'll work closely with other trades and the wider team, ensuring your clients are well looked after from enquiry through to installation.
