One21 Tauranga is seeking a Technical Sales Consultant / Estimator to join our growing team. You will combine sales expertise with estimating and quoting, building strong client relationships and delivering competitive, high-quality proposals for residential and commercial projects.

Technical SALES CONSULTANT / Estimator

Tauranga | Excellent Salary + Vehicle/Allowance + Performance Bonus | Opportunity to earn $90,000-$140,000 including bonuses

ABOUT THE JOB:

This is a varied role combining sales skills with estimating and quoting. You will ensure potential clients are well-informed by comparing 'Apples with Apples - not with Pears', so they are making solid choices based on both pricing and the quality of product and workmanship that we offer over our competitors. You will build strong relationships, earn trust, negotiate successful deals, and keep updated and ahead in a competitive market.

ABOUT YOU:

Do you enjoy working with designers, cabinet makers, and project managers, using your well-honed sales, quoting, and estimating skills to gain and retain their business?Are you someone who enjoys solving challenges?

Sales and business development experience iskeyto this role's success, as is the ability to manage existing high-level accounts with excellent communication skills, understand your clients' needs, and retaintheir business. You will need to keep your finger on the pulse at all times, stay ahead of the game, and know where to hunt out new opportunities.

You’ll work closely with other trades and the wider team, ensuring your clients are well looked after from enquiry through to installation.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
• Identifying new business opportunities
• Preparing detailed quotations and estimates
• Working closely with production and operations teams

You may currently be working as a:

• Building Products Sales Representative
• Architectural Products Consultant
• Kitchen Designer / Construction Estimator / QS

To succeed in this role you'll have:

• Experience within relevant industries as above
• Sales and account management skills
• Sound commercial business acumen
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
• A solutions-focused approach and strong attention to detail
• A genuine passion for providing exceptional customer service
• Experience with estimating software or ERP systems would be advantageous, but is not essential.
