Prepare accurate estimates and quotations based on drawings, specifications, customer requirements, and project scope.
Review project information and drawings to identify quantities, materials, finishes, labour, freight, installation, and any potential risks or exclusions.
Price projects competitively and accurately, while ensuring company margin and commercial objectives are achieved.
Manage multiple estimates and tenders from enquiry through to submission, ensuring deadlines are met and information is complete.
Work closely with Sales, Design, Manufacturing, and Project teams to clarify requirements and ensure accurate pricing and smooth project handover.
Identify and resolve gaps or discrepancies in drawings, specifications, quantities, and project information before pricing is finalised.
Support tender submissions and commercial proposals, ensuring pricing and documentation are accurate, clear, and professionally presented.
Maintain accurate estimating records, pricing information, and project documentation.
Stay up to date with product, material, manufacturing, and market costs to support accurate and commercially sound pricing.
Provide ongoing support to the Sales and Project teams with pricing, variations, and commercial queries throughout the project lifecycle.
We’re looking for an experienced Estimator who is commercially minded, highly organised, and has a strong eye for detail.
You’ll be someone who:
Has at least 5 years’ experience in estimating, quantity surveying, pricing, or a similar commercial role.
Is highly analytical and detail-focused, with the ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
Is confident working with numbers, costs, margins, and pricing.
Can manage multiple priorities and deadlines without losing accuracy.
Is proactive you ask questions and identify issues early.
Thrives in a fast-paced environment and stays focused under pressure.
Has a positive, can-do attitude and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team.
Experience in commercial furniture, manufacturing, construction, joinery, interiors, engineering, or a similar industry would be highly regarded.
